Job Purpose:
As Zamil Plastic continues to lead in automotive plastic injection manufacturing, we are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented FMEA Moderator to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring robust risk analysis and preventive quality planning across our automotive programs.
Major Project:
- Facilitate and lead DFMEA and PFMEA sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure FMEA documentation is aligned with AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook standards.
- Coordinate with design, process, and quality teams to identify and mitigate potential failure modes.
- Maintain and update FMEA documents throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support APQP activities and ensure FMEA integration with control plans and process flows.
- Train and coach teams on FMEA methodology and best practices.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- +3 years of experience in automotive quality or process engineering, preferably in plastic injection molding.
- Strong knowledge of AIAG & VDA FMEA methodology.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP.
- Proficient in FMEA software tools (e.g., IQ-RM, APIS, or similar).
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Certified FMEA Moderator or relevant training is a plus.

Major Project:
- Implement and maintain IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Conduct First Article Inspections, PPAP, and FMEA reviews.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions using tools like 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
- Support Layered Process Audits (LPA) and internal audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process quality.
