Job Detail:

Job Purpose:

To assure injection molding machines run to quality standards and meet all production goals. Assure safety and housekeeping procedures are followed. Report all quality and scrap issues to appropriate Supervisor.

Experience:

• Experience of more than 3 years in the production field as a Process Technician or a similar position with a background in manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Knowledge of plastics injection molding equipment, processes, and control systems.
• Knowledgeable of molding materials and tooling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor manufacturing processes and advise on tool correction to give manufacturing a larger operating window and practice scientific molding principles.
• Conducts trial for new raw materials, molds, and accessories needed for the mold and establish process parameters.
• Assist Quality and Manufacturing on any customer quality concern.
• Interaction with the maintenance and tool engineering team as per required.
• Possess the ability to communicate, lead, motivate, participate, and train team members, to promote growth and a team-oriented environment.
• Plan and perform a sequence of semi-routine duties working from standard procedures or generally understood methods.
• Perform all miscellaneous duties that may be assigned, train and educate the mould setters.
• Evaluate molding processes to update and improve quality while maintaining safety & productivity.
• Does frequency According to the Authority Matrix Ent visual inspection and make sure that the quality is with in specifications.
• Ensures that the dryers reading, water inlet temperature and flow are accurately working.
• Awareness of working seal to reach the goals of the organization.

Computer and Communication Skills Required

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Operating System
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office 365.
• Must be able to express ideas by means of the spoken word.
