Job Purpose
Responsible for repair and maintenance of machinery and auxiliary equipment, working independently and with the team to perform preventive, proactive, and reactive maintenance tasks, to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Work in a safe manner, follow plant safety practices and procedures, and understand and comply with plant and departmental rules and regulations.
- Identify, and report any safety hazards.
- Attend any breakdown affecting production and carry out troubleshooting and perform the required repair to restore the equipment to production with minimum cost and effort, furthermore, report the results to the supervisor.
- Perform the corrective maintenance assigned by the supervisor and report the result with the spare part if required to the maintenance supervisor on time.
- report all the temporary fixing on the equipment on time to the maintenance supervisor with the spare part if it is required.
- Perform routine maintenance on the equipment and auxiliaries as per the schedule provided by the maintenance supervisor as well as report the finding with the required spare parts.
- Share the knowledge with the rest of the team by creating two OPL (one-point lesson) every quarter.
- Participate in the installation and relocation of the machines as assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
- close all the actions assigned by the supervisor on time.
- Proper keeping of the hand tools provided by the company.
- Maintain the machine manual and related documents in a proper location.
- Maintaining good housekeeping and a clean workplace all the time.
Required Experience & Skills
- Knowledge of M.S. office, Emails.
- Capability to use the oracle inventory system as a basic user.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Good working knowledge in Arabic.
- Professional attitude in dealing with individuals at all levels and handling confidential information.
- Willing to work a changing shift schedule and on a rotating weekend on-call list.
- Willing to render overtime work if necessary.
